Mouth water when we see favorite food?

Most of the time seeing or smelling certain dishes make our mouth water. If the dishes are the favorite one or look like more delicious one, then definitely water comes in mouth. Don't be afraid of this is because of any deceases. It is natural process for everyone.

When food is smelt, seen or even thought about, a signal is sent to your brain’s primary salivary centers. The brain releases neurotransmitters which initiate nerve signals, which is activates saliva by the anticipation of eating and telling the glands to produce saliva.

This is because, we respond to stimuli on the basis of our past experience with those objects(like food). The repeated actions are recorded in our brain. On seeing favorite food, the salivary glands in our mouth gets activated in the expectation of repeated action of eating. At that we can observe saliva (or water) in mouth.
